Postal delivery driver

Role: delivering mail and parcels to houses and businesses within a set area, you’ll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route, before taking out your van to complete your round. You’ll each be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and the round will take around four hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next.

Hours: between mid-morning 11am until early evening 7pm. The role is working any five days from six with an opportunity to work overtime. Part time working opportunities are also available.

HGV Class 1 driver

Role: delivering general haulage to Manchester and other locations.

Hours: 5am/6am start Monday to Friday.

Counterbalance FLT drivers

Role: loading and unloading of wagons with a counter balance fork truck, transporting pallets and loose materials within confined spaces, scanning items in and out of the warehouse.

Hours: This is a day shift only role, working 10am till 6m Monday to Friday.

Role: typical shift will be straight-forward shunting between two depots in the North East, however the depots are a decent distance apart and you will only be expected to do five trips a shift.

Hours: night shift work available seven days a week.

Role: multiple bus drivers sought for a three-month contract in the Northumberland Park area. This role is service work to support an existing fleet for an established bus operator.

Hours: full time - 40+ hours, part time - minimum 3 days per week.

Wage: Mon-Fri: £17, weekend: £18, Bank Holiday £21.

Role: The role is 75% labour and 25% driving. You will be working as part of a two or a three-man team based on the size of the job. The mornings will normally involve loading the wagon with furniture, you will then drive to a second location and unload.

Role: applicants must have good FLT experience, and be very physically fit as light lifting of the components is required.

Hours: three-shift rota. Earlies 7am-3.30pm, early finish Friday, lates 3.30pm-11pm early finish Friday, Night 11pm-7am.

Wage: dependent on shift, between £8-£9.76 per hour. Overtime and weekend work will be required at times at time 1/2 and double time.

Role: it is imperative that you are comfortable with tail lift/pumptruck and curtainsider deliveries. A willingness to handball is advantageous, along with a can do and flexible attitude.

Hours: shifts are typically Monday to Friday with 7am starts; however, other shifts are available to suit.

The role is ever-changing daily therefore involves distance and local multi drop work.

Role: as well as driving duties, the position also involves keeping vehicles clean during the day, occasional weekend working will be required as and when required for MOT test preparation etc. The successful candidate will possess a PCV driving licence & valid driver CPC, there is also a requirement to obtain a Northumberland School Driver Badge.

Hours: 40/45 hours per week depending on workload.

Role: general duties including machine operation, warehouse duties, quality inspection loading and unloading of wagons with a counter balance fork truck, using overhead cranes and pallet trucks to move stock and materials

Hours: Shift system 7am till 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am till noon Friday, 3.30pm till midnight Monday to Thursday and noon till 5pm Friday.
