The awards celebrate hotels and restaurants from around the world and the outstanding service and quality they provide to their guests, with the winners amongst the top 10% of all of these businesses.
Jackie Maxwell of Doddington Dairy said: "This has been a tough year for many businesses, particularly those in hospitality and tourism, so it really lifts everyone's spirits at the Milk Bar to receive such a prestigious award.

“It is very much related to the experience that our customers have received and have then wanted to tell others about.
“This year we've had to reinvent the MilkBar, as a takeaway, over the summer to ensure we could stay open (and keep our staff safe).
“We've had great support from our customers with this and we're now looking to how we best serve the community during the difficult winter months.”

Originally built to sell milk and dairy produce for the dairy farm behind, the Milk Bar has changed hands several times over the years until 2016 when Neill and Jackie Maxwell bought it, in order to sell their own Doddington Dairy ice cream, cheese and yogurt.
Coming full circle, this premium ice cream is produced just three miles away from their own cows' milk at Doddington.
Jackie added: “As a business Doddington Dairy has always aimed to produce premium products from the best of ingredients, sourced locally where possible, and with this in mind the provenance of the food at the Milk Bar has been carefully thought about, aiming to serve food either handmade by ourselves or produced locally by people who share the passion.”
