Hot on the heels of their debut outdoors show in Newcastle on Bank Holiday Sunday, Bongo’s Bingo have announced a new date, this Friday, September 4, at the socially-distanced Virgin Money Unity Arena.

Sunday’s show sold out not long after going on sale, as did the forthcoming show on Saturday, September 12.

Jonny Bongo said: “Our first show at the weekend was simply amazing and it was so good for us to all be back on stage. And what an absolutely class crowd.

"Doing what we do outdoors and to 2,500 people was pretty mad – the energy from everyone was electric from start to finish and we couldn’t stop smiling. We know Newcastle always likes to party hard and this was proved again on Sunday, so now we have just announced a brand-new date on top of our other sold out show on Saturday, September 12 . There’s no excuse now not to join us - this weekend is going to be huge. Tickets are already flying out for this date.”

Bongo’s Bingo is one in a programme of live music acts to play the arena in Gosforth Park, which has so far hosted the likes of Sam Fender, Tom Grennan and DJ Patrick Topping.
