It has joined forces with Bristol-based hyperfast fibre broadband experts Runfibre to provide much-needed connectivity to some of South Gloucestershire’s most rural locations.
Alncom, who have connected some of the most rural and isolated locations in Northumberland and County Durham over the past year, say their wholesale service will allow open access to other providers, with a number of similar projects across the country.
Dave Swanston of Runfibre said: "Alncom have honed their rural broadband skills over the past 15 years in some of the rural locations in the country in Northumberland and County Durham and the collaboration is a huge step forward for rural South Gloucester. This will genuinely change lives.”
Alncom, based on the Cawledge Business Park, now has more than 40 staff and is likely to be recruiting more engineers as demand grows.
