Aldi will stay stay closed on Boxing Day to give staff a well-earned break – but when will the supermarket be open over Christmas?
While most supermarkets and shops will be opening their doors for shoppers wanting to restock on groceries after Christmas or bag a bargain in the sales, all branches of Aldi will be shut.
Unlike most of its competitors the supermarket has closed its stores on Boxing Day for several years now.

New Year’s Eve: 8am to 6pm
New Year’s Day: Closed
Thursday, January 2: 8am to 10pm
