3 new journalists wanted to cover the biggest stories across the North East as titles reach more and more people online

We are looking for three talented journalists to join our live and court teams as our titles continue their digital expansion.

They will write great stories for the Sunderland Echo, Shields Gazette, Hartlepool Mail and Northumberland Gazette and will also be expected to produce attention-grabbing videos and live blogs.

Our live team provides unparalleled coverage for the four areas, covering the big, breaking news and trending stories.

The court team covers everything from the biggest murder trials in our crown courts to speeding offences at the magistrates' courts.
