'Fugitives' from Northumberland wanted for next series of Channel 4's Hunted

The deadline for wannabe fugitives eager to go on the run across Britain in a bid to win a share of £100,000 has been extended until Sunday, March 8.

The application deadline for the sixth series of Channel 4’s Hunted has been extended – there are still a few days to sign up.

The hit TV series follows a number of volunteers as they try to go “off the grid” and turn fugitive in the UK in a bid to win £100,000.

Now the team at Shine TV, behind the popular Channel 4 show, are looking for men and women of all ages to try and evade capture from a team of expert trackers.

A spokesman for the production company said: “We are looking for people from a variety of backgrounds and professions who think they have what it takes to disappear in 21st century Britain.

“They could be going it alone or with friends, family or colleagues.”

A prize of £100,000 will be shared equally between the fugitives who successfully evade capture and make it to the pick-up point at the end of their time on the run.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Applicants must be able to be away from home and work for between four and six weeks .

Applicants must reside in the United Kingdom (not including the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands)

Applicants or anyone in their household must not currently work for Shine TV or Channel 4.
