Ghosties, ghoulies and things that go woooo in the night all descending on The Alnwick Garden tonight.

It was the first in a series of fright nights leading up to Hallowe'en as the garden's gates were opened to all spooky creatures and anyone brave enough to join them.

The Dark Garden is a new Hallowe’en-themed event at Alnwick Garden, new for this year as the attraction aims to build on the success of A Christmas Tale, last year's festive theatrical offering. It is being produced by the same production company, Enchanted Places.

Are you brave enough to take a spine-chilling walk along the Path of Fear into the Dark Garden? These pictures and video might give you a taste for the scary adventure; on the other hand....

The Dark Garden opened tonight (Tuesday, October 25) and runs until Monday, October 31, between 6.15pm and 9.30pm. Tickets cost £12 per adult, £7 for children four and over and £34 for a family. Car parking is £3.
