A concert commemorating the centenary of the start of the First World War was played out to a capacity audience last Saturday.
Held in Lesbury Village Hall, Years to Remember sold out in just five days and many people in the audience attended in period costume.
A range of performers showed off their skills, helping to contribute to a varied programme of early 20th century-themed entertainment.
The concert was opened by Pipe Major Andy Grant playing a lament followed by a pipe march forming a fitting tribute to First World War hero Daniel Laidlaw, who schooled in Lesbury.
Highlights included the representation of a Suffragette rally, while the concert ended with The Last Post.
A donation was made to the Royal British Legion and the Years to Remember project has sparked interest at Hipsburn First School.
