This new project involves an andante chamber choir with the Borders Youth Theatre and ad-hoc players, a group of Borders’ actors created especially for the production.
It incorporates lots of “the best bits” of Shakespeare’s speeches and sonnets.
The show has developed into a free-standing choral, oral and visual exploration of Shakespeare’s insights into the humour and tragedy of being human.
The collaboration forms part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open Stages Project.
It takes place on Sunday, June 24, at 7.30pm in Kirknewton Village Hall.
Tickets are £10 including refreshments from Arthur Parsons on 01890 883552 or Border Youth Theatre on 07773 977567.
