Mr Albert’s Big Finish is a fast-moving, colourful and highly visual show.
It combines active audience participation, magical illusions, physical theatre and circus skills with the acting and comedy skills of Magic Carpet Theatre, one of the UK’s leading children’s theatre companies.
Mr Albert is played by Jon Marshall and although he has to be persuaded by Charlie to attempt to perform magical tricks, Jon is a member of The Inner Magic Circle and, as with many Magic Carpet productions, magic and illusion play an important part in the story.
Charlie the Caretaker, played by Steve Collison wants to do something dangerous and attempts some hilarious juggling and balancing tricks.
If you like funny stories, magic, juggling, comedy and joining in you’ll love Mr Albert’s Big Finish!
And in the morning, there is an hour-and-a-half workshop session in which you will get the chance to pull a tablecloth from under a load of crockery and magically float a glass of water in the air, among other magic, juggling and slapstick techniques.
