In a theatre not so far, far away

One-Man Star Wars Trilogy
One-Man Star Wars Trilogy

One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, Alnwick Playhouse, Tuesday, September 27, 7.30pm. Tickets £11, £10, £8 conc.

CANADIAN actor Charles Ross spent much of his childhood in a galaxy far, far away, watching Star Wars videos over, and over, and over again.

The result of this misspent youth is his hilarious show, One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, where he single-handedly plays all the characters, sings the music, flies the ships, fights the battles and condenses the plots into just 60 minutes.

One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, written by Ross and directed by TJ Dawe, has toured the world since January 2001, delighting audiences as far afield as Dubai and Sydney.

It has been performed off-Broadway in New York and in London’s West End, at several official Star Wars Celebration events, Glastonbury Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Now, after a two-year absence, Ross is bringing his hilarious show back to the UK.

Whether you’re a committed Star Wars fan or simply want to enjoy a fast-paced, side-splitting evening that’s out of this world, make sure you don’t miss it when the show comes to Alnwick.

as there may not be a sequel to this one.
