Head into the magical, glittering snowdome

Snowdome.
Snowdome.

Children – and adults – are set to be whisked away on a magical adventure as a special theatre show comes to Alnwick.

Across the weekend before Christmas, Puppetship presents an interactive experience for youngsters and their grown-ups at the Playhouse.

There are several showings of the 45-minute Snowdome on Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21.

There are also repeat performances on Saturday, January 4.

Inside the sparkly snowdome, it’s always winter.

Landscapes shift, cities come and go while curious creatures sleep, dreaming of spring. And still it snows...

Described as a gentle, wintry theatre experience for children aged nought to two or three to four, children can join the interactive performance and play session inside the sparking snowdome.

Youngsters are given the opportunity to create beautiful miniature worlds from simple household objects in a glittering, magical environment.

Snowdome was a huge hit at the Bath International Family Theatre Festival in 2012 and the Playhouse team is delighted to present it over the festive period in Alnwick.

There are three showings on each of the three days that Snowdome is on at the Playhouse – 10am, noon and 2pm.

Places for each performance are limited. Those interested are advised to book in advance.

Tickets cost £9 for an adult and child or £8 for a concessions and child ticket.

Book via the Playhouse box office in person (closed Mondays), on 01665 510785 or www.alnwickplayhouse.co.uk
