ENCHANTING theatre, magical songs, and a romantic fairytale brought to life – Alnwick Stage Musical Society presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

The group steps onto the Alnwick Playhouse stage for this splendidly-extravagant production.

This family-fun show – a theatrical version of the animated Disney film – has all the magic of the original fairytale and boasts toe-tapping tunes, a stock of outlandish, enchanted characters and nearly 100 sumptuous costumes.

It features a large cast of local actors and singers who have been rehearsing since September. Peter Brown, so often directing musical events in and around Alnwick, finds himself on the other side of the footlights for a change, this time playing a major role, while Lynne Lambert, herself a performer in many of the company’s previous shows, directs.

Beauty and the Beast promises to be a unique, hilarious and touching production.
