He has performed around the world for 10 years and his special illusions have included making the new Mercedes M class and A class appear from thin air.
Now magician Jamie Allan is set to astound UK audiences with his debut national tour this autumn.
And he is coming to Alnwick Playhouse on his travels, with the new show iMagician.
Jamie blends technology with incredible magic and illusion, all enhanced through cutting-edge projection and world-class sleight of hand.
He said: “What I’m trying to do is use to our advantage the same technologies that are making some magicians obsolete.
“We have some amazing illusions with high-powered laser beams, flat screens, voice recognition and virtual assistants.
“You will see magic like never before and be more amazed than you thought possible. That’s my promise.”
Described as one of the finest magicians the UK has ever produced, Jamie has worked alongside and designed effects for stars such as Sting, Lulu and Jools Holland.
He has even vanished and reproduced a Robinson R22 helicopter live on stage during the RMS Queen Mary 2’s maiden voyage, a trick he repeated on the TV show Mega Clever to millions of viewers.
Jamie will be performing at the Playhouse on Wednesday, October 9, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £16.50 premier, £15.50 standard and £10.50 child/student.
