PREPARE for a roller-coaster ride through black history in this powerful production from Gazebo Theatre Company.

Rivers to Cross takes audiences on a 174-year multimedia journey through imperialism, segregation, the civil rights movement, the ‘Windrush’ era and the black consciousness movement, telling the stories of great accomplishments in the face of adversity.

The play features a series of greats, including Ira Aldridge, Walter Tull, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Dr Harold Moody, Paul Robeson and Barack Obama.

It stars Sylvester Williams, who appeared in Eastenders in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
