A live music event is to take place in Rothbury this weekend as a collaboration between Punch Taverns pubs in the village.
Rothbury Rocks centres on the Turks Head pub, on High Street, with local acts lined up to entertain visitors on tonight and Saturday. It kicks off tonight with Rothbury’s Nelly’s Moss, starting at 8.25pm.
They will be followed by StoneFish at 9.10pm and then Koostie Music, pictured, at 9.35pm. The Purest Green will wrap up the night’s events with a performance at 10.25pm.
Saturday will see a more acoustic night, with music starting earlier at 6pm, with Oil Slick Mick.
Allan and Evie will take over at 6.40pm, followed by David Stanyer, a guitarist and vocalist with the band Longsands, at 7.15pm.
And then there will be a three-hour set from Molly Mackay Music and friends with Molly Mackay, Chloe Watson, Kiel Wilkinson, Scott Rogers, Constance Richardson, Jack Howard, Kat Mchugh, Oil Slick Mick and Hannah Lamb.
They will also be accompanied by Andy on saxophone.
Live music will also be taking place in the Newcastle House Hotel and the Queen’s Head.
