The first music festival to be staged at a Northumberland football club will kick off on Saturday.

Shielfield Stadium, which is the home of Berwick Rangers FC, will be holding the Shielfield Rocks music festival.

The event, presented by Berwick Rangers Supporters’ Club, will feature a range of artists.

Bands scheduled to appear include Hardly Original, The Guilty Pleasures, Point Blank, Joe Mangels, The Scandals, Crashed Out, Dirtbox Disco and Argy Bargy.

The first band will be on stage at 3pm and the festival will run until 11.30pm. Admission on the day is £17. Those aged 12 and under go free.
