Tickets are selling fast for a fund-raising concert in aid of the oldest military charity.
The Dishforth Military Wives Choir is performing in The Alnwick Garden at 7pm on April 18, to raise money for ssafa Northumberland.
The event will include choir favourites Wherever You Are, which was the Christmas number one in 2011, and Bring Him Home.
In commemoration of last year’s centenary of the outbreak of the First World War and the 75th anniversary of the Second World War, the choir will also present a Vera Lynn medley of wartime songs, including old favourites such as Pack Up Your Troubles.
Tickets for the concert and dinner cost £40 or £20 (£15 concessions) for the concert, wine and canapes.
They are available at The Alnwick Garden, 01665 511350, www.alnwickgarden.com or through Major Brian Finlayson on firstname.lastname@example.org
All the money raised will be used in Northumberland by ssafa, which provides support for servicemen and women, past and present, and their families.
