Tea and symphony

TICKETS are now available for framFEST 2012, which is raising money for Cancer Research UK.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 5, at Longframlington, in both the Memorial Hall and on the village green.

It will feature maypole dancing, workshops and a ceilidh in the afternoon, followed by an evening of music with headline acts Matt Stalker and Fables, Ditte Elly, We Found Nemo:Unplugged and Ellie Rox.

There will also be excellent-value afternoon teas.

Ellie Roxburgh, from the village, has produced and is directing the event as part of her final year project for her community music degree at The Sage Gateshead, bringing music into the community.
