Festival star brings blues to Rothbury Roots

One of the most exciting and hard working names on the roots and blues scene is to play Rothbury Roots this month.

Sean Taylor, a London lyricist, has played Glastonbury four times and has been hailed ‘articulate and compelling’and a ‘superb guitarist’.

He has released six albums to date and toured Europe and Australia, supporting John Fogerty and Richard Thompson to name a couple.

His new album, which he has been recording in Texas, is due for release later this year.

He will be performing new and unreleased songs at The Queen’s Head, Rothbury, on Thursday, February 26. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets, £10, are available from 01669 620470.
