Wayne Robertson and Davie Stewart, Glendale Hall, Wooler, Thursday, November 24, 7.30pm.

THE November club night of Glendale Accordion and Fiddle Club saw a great turnout for guests Wayne Robertson and Davie Stewart.

The duo, from Arbroath and Kirriemuir respectively, both played piano accordion.

They were supported by Mungo and Neil Riddell, Robin Cowens (five-row), Scott Gillies, Alan Helm and Leonard Brown on accordions.

Ian Riddell was on drums, Leonard Brown and Netta Harvey on keyboards, Ernie Gordon on mouthie and Cheryl Forman and Ian Woods on fiddle.

Compere Ron Smailes thanked Wayne and Davie for their varied programme, all the supporting musicians, Mr and Mrs Brodie and Ann for the excellent supper and bar, the kitchen ladies and all who gave raffle prizes.

The next club night will be see Falkirk’s Marion Anderson Trio perform.

It takes place at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 22, in the Glendale Hall. Listeners and musicians welcome.
