Concertante winds up Society’s season

THE final concert of Alnwick Music Society’s season features the return of London Concertante to Alnwick Playhouse.

This chamber ensemble is renowned for its artistic excellence and its flexibility of instrumental grouping.

On this occasion, musical director Chris Grist and leader and internationally-renowned violinist Adam Summerhayes head a septet to present a programme of music written by composers in their early years, including works by Mozart and Schubert.

It promises to be a fitting climax to the Society’s season of wonderful concerts and London Concertante has proved popular on previous occasions.
