Annual feast of music is nearly here

From a full performance of La Boheme to the classic Broadway of Rodgers and Hammerstein – the curtain will soon be coming up on the third Northumberland Music Festival.

The event is being staged at Guyzance Hall, Doxford Hall and Eshott Hall between Friday, November 8, and Sunday, November 24.

All performances take place over three weekends and tickets are being sold with dinner or lunch included.

The festival kicks off with Northumbrian Pipes and Fiddle at Doxford Hall.

On Saturday, November 9, Felling Male Voice Choir will perform at Guyzance Hall.

The following day, the sounds of Rodgers and Hammerstein will come to Doxford Hall.

La Boheme is being staged at Doxford Hall on Friday, November 15, and then Guyzance Hall will be the venue for The Legendary Ladies of Jazz on Saturday, November 16.

On Sunday, November 17, Opera Romance comes to Doxford Hall.. The Northumbrian Ranters will be at the same venue on Friday, November 22.

A Feast of Gilbert and Sullivan comes to Eshott Hall, on Saturday, November 23, and Doxford Hall on Sunday, November 24.
