Supporters of HospiceCare North Northumberland will be strutting their stuff at a spring fashion show to raise money for the charity.

Those gracing the catwalk will be wearing the latest trends for both men and women from a range of locally-based stores.

The event, which forms part of the Hospice’s 20th anniversary celebrations and is sponsored by Alnwick-based business MSP, is taking place at The Alnwick Garden Pavilion on Friday, March 13, from 7pm.

It is the third of its kind and is an important fund-raiser for the Hospice, as well as helping to raise the profile of the charity.

People attending the event can look forward to a welcome drink and canapés, as well as music from the Hospice’s Young Ambassador Lewis Denny. The catwalk models will be wearing items from the likes of Dorothy Perkins, Cc Fashion, Kiddies Kabin, Scotts of Alnwick, Store Twenty One, Fabulously Frozen, Hotspur 1364 and Sainsbury’s, as well as handmade corsets by Sue Scott. HospiceCare fund-raiser Rebecca Taylor said: “Our models were amazing last year; there was no dress rehearsal, just a can-do inspirational attitude that made the night so special for everyone involved.

“We are so delighted that the local high street retailers are once again supporting this event with some new exciting additions. Tickets sold out last year so get your tickets early for what promises to be another fantastic event.”

Tickets are £10 and available from Alnwick-based businesses Cc Fashion, Kiddies Kabin, Scotts of Alnwick, Bex Hair & Beauty and Hotspur 1364. You can also purchase tickets from HospiceCare, by calling 01665 606515 or at www.hospicecare-nn.org.uk
