A display of work by Craster Art Club will be staged this weekend, with money going towards a life-saving charity.
As part of the display, group members set themselves a challenge of painting a postcard-sized original piece of work, based on any theme.
These quirky creations will be on sale during the event, with all profits going to the Great North Air Ambulance.
The group’s usual paintings will also be on display and for sale.
The exhibition takes place at Howick Village Hall and runs from Saturday to Bank Holiday Monday, from 10am to 4.30pm. Cakes and teas will be available.
The club has been running since 1999 and meets on Monday mornings.
