The 122nd Glendale Agricultural Show takes place on Monday and there will be plenty of fun for all the family.

The packed programme of activities includes main-ring attractions, such as world record-breaking stuntman Matt Coulter. The gates open at 9am. For details and advanced ticket entry, visit the website.

• The world’s original and best One Direction tribute band comes to Alnwick Playhouse on Wednesday at 7.30pm. Alnwick lad Jack Greaves is a band member, while Daniel Hope, from the town, will be supporting. Tickets are £16.50 premier, £15.50 standard and £14.50 child/student.
