HISTORY will be brought to life at Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens.
From today until Sunday, take a trip back to medieval times with plenty of hands-on activities and games, from dressing up and medieval dancing to sword drill and even a chance to try on a child size suit of armour.
There will also be plenty of arts and crafts activities too.
All children must be accompanied and activities and demonstrations will take place throughout each day.
Meanwhile, on Saturday and Sunday, costumed medieval falconers will present spectacular displays of Birds of Prey in flight.
Discover how these birds were used in medieval times for hunting and status and enjoy an enthralling blend of history, theatre and thrills in what promises to be an awe-inspiring falconry show.
Both events run from 11am to 4.30pm.
Normal admission applies, but there will be an additional £1 charge to standard admission for every child (English Heritage member or non-member).
