Country music fans will be flocking to Coquetdale this weekend for a three-day festival.
The Coquet Creek Country Music weekend will take place at Linbriggs Farm, just outside Alwinton, from Friday to Sunday.
It features more than 10 live bands. Other attractions include line dancing.
Music will come from bands such as Ragged Company, Broomhill Red, Alan Patrick, Man From The North, Cliff & Weston, Western Express, Lorraine Mcmillan Band, Jonny & Lynette Marie, Bob Morgan Duo, Zene and the Resident Rhinetone Disco.
Organiser Katherine Singer said: ‘The committee of the festival has been working hard, transforming the lambing and cattle shed into a country and western-themed venue, with stage, dancefloor and seating.”
Camping and caravanning is welcome over the weekend and there will also be a licensed bar and a hog roast.
This year’s event will be the ninth since the festival started in 2005. It attracts hundreds of people each year and children are also welcome.
Ticket prices are as follows: Friday, £15; Saturday, £20 for full day or £10 from 6pm; Sunday, £10; weekend ticket £45. Children are free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
Caravan and camping is available from Thursday to Monday at £5 per night but spaces are limited. For more, see www.coquetcreek.com
