Two murals being painted by children at Hipsburn First School are to be displayed at Alnmouth railway station where they will be seen by hundreds of passengers every day.

Hipsburn artist Francesca Simpson has been working with pupils to help them produce their paintings of Bamburgh Castle and Coquet Island.

The original designs have been prepared by Francesca who is being funded by the donation made by the Alnmouth Arts Festival Committee to the school.
