SINGA-POOR SLINGIn Singapore, a man who wore a pink bikini in a housing block lift to the shock of a young woman was jailed for one day and fined 11,000 Singapore dollars (7,692 US dollars), news reports said on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old soldier, was clad in the bikini when he stepped into the lift with a 20-year-old woman on April 12, The Straits Times said.
The woman bolted as soon as the lift reached her floor. Her mother reported the incident to police.
He was sentenced for the indecent 'fashion parade' as well as stealing a pair of sunglasses and fraudulent possession of women's underwear obtained by theft, the report said.
The court heard that police found 46 pieces of women's panties, bras, bikinis, skirts and shorts in his flat, in addition to pornographic films.
His lawyer said the soldier had been badly affected by his parents' divorce during his formative years.
OH, HI ... OH!In Mason, Ohio, a man wearing a woman's wig and a string bikini was charged with taking a drunken afternoon romp through a park.
The 46-year-old volunteer firefighter told an officer he was on his way to a Dayton bar to perform as a woman in a contest offering a $10,000 prize.
He pleaded not guilty to charges of drunken driving, public indecency and disorderly conduct.
The arrest happened after police received a report that an intoxicated man was walking and driving around Heritage Oak Park in Mason.
Police found him wearing a blond wig, pink flip-flops and a red-black-and-white striped bikini with the top filled out by tan water balloons.
A blood test revealed he was twice over the legal limit.
"He is obviously humiliated and embarrassed by the entire situation," said his lawyer.
