These are some of the events to look out for today at London 2012.
After a golden weekend for Team GB, the medal haul could be increased today, not least in the cycling where Jason Kenny will be trying to fill Chris Hoy’s shoes in the individual sprint. Semi-finals at 4pm before the final at 5.43pm.
The GB eventing team are also looking for a medal going into the final day of the show-jumping.
Between 2.50pm and 3.34pm, gymnast Beth Tweddle goes for gold in the uneven bars.
The athletics finals continue in the Olympic Stadium this evening, with the British focus on Dai Greene in the 400m hurdles at 8.45pm. Brit Holly Bleasdale competes in the pole vault from 7pm.
But north Northumberland’s eyes will be well and truly on Laura Weightman who kicks off her 1500m campaign today.
The Lesbury 21-year-old will be running in the heats at 11.50am.
