Olympian Laura Weightman has made the GB squad for the World Championships in Moscow in August.
Sealing a spot at the showpiece event was the 22-year-old’s main goal for the track and field season.
But the Lesbury athlete’s dreams were left hanging by a thread after she crashed out of the women’s 1500m final at the British Championships on Sunday.
The London 2012 runner fell on the penultimate lap after contact with another competitor.

She will join fellow 1500m runner Hannah England in Russia.
But Lisa Dobriskey, who also failed to complete Sunday’s final, misses out.
