There was a top-of-the-table clash as second-placed Shilbottle Club A took on league leaders The Travellers.
It was level after the singles, in which Ian Tate scored his fourth 180 of the season.
Shilbottle then went on to win both pairs and the teams to take the match 5-2.
The John Bull played host to Team Dinga, who continued on their great run, taking all four singles without reply.
The Bull managed a point in the pairs, but The Dingas won the team games and the match 6-1.
The Gate Bar took an early 3-1 lead against AWMC B.
They then won both pairs and team games, leaving a final score Gate Bar A 6 AWMC B 1.
The Oddies B visited AWMC Bar. In a very close game, the points were shared in the singles.
The Oddies’ Turner twins took the first of the pairs, only for The Club’s Alan Mole and Mick Armstrong to take the next game.
The Oddies won the team-game decider and the match 4-3.
AWMC A continued to move closer to the top of B Division. They were 3-1 up after the singles against opponents The Oddies A.
The Club won both pairs, but The Oddies claimed the last point in the teams to leave a final score AWMC A 5 The Oddies A 2.
The Farriers visited The Market Tavern A and got off to a good start, taking the first two singles.
The Market took the remaining two, with Kieran Marsh recording his first 180 of the season.
The Market went on to win both pairs and teams, taking the match 5-2.
Alnwick Golf Club travelled to play Shilbottle Club B.
In a game going one way, then another, it came down to a team-game decider.
The Golfers took the honours 4-3.
The Fleece hosted AWMC C and got off to a flying start, taking the first two singles. The experience of The Club’s veterans proved too much as they went on to take all remaining points.
The final score was The Fleece 2-5 AWMC C.
