Boulmer battle to super victory

Alnwick/Boulmer ladies netball side recieved their new kit from sponsors AJ Scotts sawmills of Wooperton before this weeks victory over Wansbeck B. The squad are seen recieving the kit from sponsors Andrew and Robert Scott.

Boulmer played another fast-paced match last Wednesday against Wansbeck B, gaining a valuable win in the league.

The first quarter resulted in a score of 12-5 with Alnwick taking the lead early on. Their team work on the court was fantastic, and was reflected in the score, with almost faultless shooting throughout.

However, although Wansbeck won the second quarter 7-9 and the third quarter 7-8, their attempts failed to narrow the gap towards the end of the match.

The game remained swift until the last quarter when substitutions helped Alnwick reach the score of 11-9. They had managed to hold on to their early lead for a superb win.
