Men’s Easter Nine-hole Sweep (February 4): 1 Viv Wilkinson 24pts; 2 Bob Boyle 22; 3 Scott Provost 20; Joint 4 Nev Holden and George Ridgway 19. Once again, we had another very impressive winner. This time it was Viv Wilkinson who shot a gross 37 strokes, just three over par, playing off a 17 (nine) handicap.

Cumulative league placings (the four best scores to count): 1 Richie Campbell 81pts; joint 2 David Inkster and Neville Holden 76; joint 4 Russell Archibald and his nephew Steve Forman, plus Chris Fettis 75, with another four weeks still left to play.

Seniors Easter Nine-hole Sweep (February 21): 1. Bob Boyle 20; 2 Bob Stephenson 19; Joint 3 Ian Blakey and Geoff Smart 18.

Cumulative league placings (the four best scores to count): 1 Peter Egdell 71; joint 2 Bob Stephenson, Jack Ross and Bob Boyle 67; 5 Ian Blakey 65, with another three weeks left to play. Huge thanks go to our greenkeeper Ben for the course currently being in such good condition. Visitors are always very welcome.
