United transfer target hits out at Lille chief after bid is rejected
Newcastle United target Mathieu Debuchy’s hit out at Lille for blocking his move to the Premier League.
The club yesterday had a £5m bid for the France international rejected.
And United were today considering whether to make one final take-it-or-leave-it offer for the 27-year-old.

However, Lille’s president, Michel Seydoux, has said the right-back will now stay at the club.
And that has infuriated Debuchy, who is keen to join his France colleague and close friend Yohan Cabaye at St James’s Park.
“I called the president and left him a message,” Debuchy told L’Equipe.
“I do not understand. One day, I’m not leaving because I have no replacement.
“One day, the coach who is blocking me. One day, it was President.
“I feel that everyone does not have the same speech.
“I’m close to Yohan, and I followed his season. Now I have the chance to play in the best league in the world.”
Lille have signed defender Djibril Sidibe, who can play at right-back.
