Ryhope CW 4 Alnwick Town 3

Alnwick Town threw away a two-goal lead as they lost 4-3 to Northern League Division Two league leaders Ryhope CW last night.

Wyn Fremlin grabbed a first-half hat-trick for Alnwick to put them 3-1 up at the break.

But the table-toppers hit back with three second-half goals to take maximum points in the Ebac Northern League Division Two clash.

The hosts scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute.

It leaves Alnwick in the bottom three.

Alnwick are at home to Whickham on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
