Town match postponed

Alnwick Town’s E Armstrong Memorial Cup First Round match at Northallerton Town was postponed last night.

It was the second time in five days that Alnwick have had a game called off, after their clash at Washington on Friday night was given the red light.

The St James’ Park side will be hoping for better luck with the weather on Saturday when they visit Thornaby.

The Northern League Division Two encounter kicks-off at 3pm.
