Puffin Festival football tournament a success

The event was hailed a huge success by children and parents.

Amble Links First School, Amble First School, Warkworth C of E First School, Broomhill First School and Red Row First School all accepted the academy’s invitation to take part in the first Puffin Festival Tournament.

Organiser and FA licensed coach Josh Rutherford said: “Well done to all the children who participated, they had lots of fun and the standard of the football was brilliant.”

Victory Shield winners were Red Row First School, who beat Amble Links First School in an entertaining final.

Meanwhile, Broomhill First School retained the Champions Shield with a win over Amble First School in a thrilling final.

Tiny Woods Academy thanked Amble Town Council and Amble Development Trust for their support and backing to host the event.
