In the NFA Sunday Cup final, the first half was keenly contested with neither team in the ascendancy, and there was only one real chance for either side, with the Jubilee keeper saving well at the foot of the post.

The second half saw Tavern get the ball down and play some good passing football, and they gradually got on top and restricted Jubilee to spasmodic attacks.

It stayed 0-0 until around the 70-minute mark when Liam Brooks got a neat flick on a ball at the near post and it beat the keeper to put Amble in front.

A second goal soon followed when Josh Hay made a run into the box before laying the ball back for Brooks his and Amble’s second.

Jubilee tried hard to get a foothold back in the game, however, Tavern stood firm and took a deserved victory.
