Rained out at Castle Green

On another rainy day, the match between Bamburgh Castle and Prudhoe was abandoned after only 11.1 overs with the Castle side in the ascendancy.

The two Prudhoe openers J Alnwick and M Jacobs made 16 runs before Jacobs was bowled by Andrew Wright for four.

Then new batsman J Burns was bowled and Alnwick fell in the following over which left Prudhoe reeling on 20-3 before a mini stand of 10 runs.

Another wicket fell before the rain came in with Prudhoe on 31-4.
