The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club held its final trout fishing event of 2012, which was hailed a success.

Held at Whinney Loch in the Scottish Borders in early October, the event attracted three beginners, including Helen Barbour, from Barbour clothing.

The weather was beautiful and the day proved great fun with many fish caught, including a beautiful 8lber.

For lunch, the women enjoyed a barbecue, followed by cakes to help raise money for breast cancer.

A special thank-you goes to all ladies who attended this event, in particular, Cat McGinty, who organised the barbecue but didn’t actually attend the event in the end.

The club is hoping to hold a Grayling fishing event in November.
