Awkward conditions

Strong south-westerly winds made fishing conditions awkward this week, but, with some colour in the water, there was a chance of some cod. Anthony Gibbison won with three cod, 5lb 9½. which also included the heaviest fish 2lb 9oz. Second was Willy Morton, one cod, 1lb 15oz.

Other anglers weighing in were: George Hornsby, one cod. 1lb 12oz; Ian Hall, one flounder, 1lb 5oz; Steve Ayling, one whiting, 8oz.
