Warkworth Junior Competition results

The Chairmans cup was up for grabs on a typical bank holiday monday of howling winds and rain at the old links. A Warkworth first was achieved as youngsters Freddie Bremner and Libby Bell became the two youngest competitors to enter a club competitionat the ages of 6 and 7 respectively. Scores were predictably high due to the conditions but Daniel Cook pipped the rest with a fine 70 nett from young Freddie who weighed in with an excellent 75.Libby Bell came in third on an 88 to beat James Wilkes by two strokes.Hopefully the next competition will have better conditions without the need to thaw out at the end.
Richard West will be coaching the juniors starting on Tuesday the 15th of May at 6pm at the club practice area with 4 more follow up sessions to come.
Freddie was a bit camera shy but Libby is pictured between James and Daniel
