Northumberland Cricket Board Officials Association have announced details of free scorers introductory courses.

The taster courses are a perfect way for anyone thinking about becoming a scorer to learn the basic skills required to complete and balance a scoresheet.

The course is at introductory level, delivered in a fun and friendly manner and will include use of the latest scoring technology via Total Cricket Scorer.

It is an ideal opportunity for people involved in junior cricket or just interested in learning about scoring.

There is no charge for what organisers hope will be enjoyable evenings, to which everyone is welcome.

There are two venues available to attend: Alnwick Cricket Club, Thursdays, March 20, 27 and April 3, and Walbottle Campus School (classroom next to sports hall) Tuesdays, April 8, 15 and 22.

All sessions will run from 7pm to 9pm and all you need to bring with you is a sharp pencil.

In order to register for a place on one of the courses, contact course tutor Colin Edwards via email at colin@edwardscj.me.uk or phone 07785 967455 with preferred venue, name, club and contact details.
