Alnwick Harriers Juniors

Alnwick Junior Harriers were present in force at the first North East Harrier League cross-country fixture at East Cramlington Nature Reserve on Saturday, October 27.

Warren Davison finished the Under 11s course in second place in 4mins 8 secs.

Daniel Fletcher finished eighth in the U13 Boys and is now promoted to the fast pack for future league races.

In the U15 Boys, Adam Weightman ran a strong race completing the 3.2km course in 11 mins 15 secs and finishing fifth.

Similarly, Isaac Moss finished fifth in the U17 Boys, completing the challenging 6.4km two-circuit lap in 25 mins 15 secs.

The U17 Boys finished first in their respective category.

There were six girls running in the U13 girls’ race, most of whom were new to competitive running for the club.

Rosie Murton once again gave a strong performance posting the fastest time in the Under 15 girls’ race, finishing fourth overall with a fast pack handicap. The next fixture of the NEHL will be at Blaydon on Saturday, November 17. All Junior Harriers are welcome.
