The races have been coming thick and fast recently for Wooler-based Team CHR with mixed fortunes and a lot of injuries.
Out injured at the moment are Russel Walsh with a broken collarbone sustained at the Scottish Championships at Fort William, Mark Sinclair, with a broken arm from the endurance downhill at Fort William and Alan Turnbull with a broken leg sustained at the Northern Downhill Yorkshire Championships.
James Purvis has also had a spell on the sidelines with a broken hand and Shane Craig has spent time in Ninewells hospital Dundee after a crash at a Scottish race at Dunkeld so all in all not the best of seasons for injuries for the team.
But there has also been some great racing and results, with the undoubted highlight of the season so far being Purvis becoming the UK National Juvenile Downhill Champion for 2012 by winning his category at the British Downhill Series UK National Championships at Moelfre in Wales by over 4.5secs just three weeks after breaking his hand.
