Hull...1 Alnwick I...1

ALNWICK travelled to Hull feeling optimistic after last week’s win.

In the home fixture, Hull beat Alnwick 3-1, so the visitors were out for revenge.

Alnwick moved the ball around well across the pitch and enjoyed the majority of possession. Some quick passing from the backs through to the forwards saw C Britton have some good shots on goal only to be saved by the keeper.

The Alnwick defence kept Hull at bay until the last five minutes when they managed to convert a messy goal.

Within two minutes, Alnwick were awarded a penalty-corner thanks to some quick thinking from R Murray, which allowed A Cook to convert a cracking shot on goal to bring the score to 1-1.

For the remainder of the game, Alnwick kept possession and held Hull to a draw.
