North Northumberland Junior Golf League

WITH Linden Hall having a free week, it was a chance for the other teams to show their mettle and indicate to everyone that this year could be a very tight race for the title.

Goswick stole the show by taking full points in fine win away to Seahouses, which put them at the top of the league.

Alnmouth (Fox) also look strong this year and had a good win at home to Percy Wood and Magdalene Fields managed a good home win against Warkworth, who have consistently had a good side in recent years.

Rothbury took full points from Bamburgh as they were unable to field a team due to other commitments.

Alnwick also had a free week. All in all, a very good start to the season and there are sure to be many twists and turns in the weeks ahead.
